Baleares leads the increase of social security affiliates in tourism in April

The number of workers registered in Social Security in activities related to the tourism sector increased by 12.5% in the Balearic Islands in April, according to the data released by the „General Subdirectorate of Knowledge and Tourist Studies“ (Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism).
.Above the national average, the number of affiliates increased in the Balearic Islands (+ 12.5%), the Canaries (+ 7.9%), Andalusia (+ 7.5%), Valencia (+ 7.2%) and Catalonia (+ 6.9%), growth above the national average.
Since January, the Balearic Islands granted a 8.3% increase in its members in hotels and travel agencies, followed by the Canary Islands (+ 7.9%), Andalusia (+ 5.8%), Extremadura (+ 5.5%) and Madrid (+ 5.4%).
