In order to face with the high youth unemployment rate existing in the Balearic Islands, 44.6%, a human resources consulting of the Island, in collaboration with several local companies, has developped an initiative called Coach Exit Project.
The main goal is to promote, via coaching and mentoring, the access of young people in risk of social and labour exclusion to the labour market. The tool to achieve it is the corporate volunteering.
In this new edition, the Coach Exit Project will be supported by Go-Consulting and companies such as Fundació Reial Mallorca, Grupo Batle, Habitissimo, Trivago, Adecco, Angel 24, Caixabank, Endesa, Idiso, Indra, Mac Insular, Meliá Hotels International , MTS Globe, Mutua Balear, Tirme and TUI Destination Services.
There are also several high schools of Palma that participate in the project, such as IES Aurora Picornell, IES Francesc de Borja Moll, Sant Felip Neri College, IES Joan Alcover, IES Guillem Sagrera and the San Alfonso Mº College of Ligorio.
This initiative is aimed at socially responsible companies and seeks to improve the labour integration of young people, working with them in the guidance and motivation to continue their training and improve their chances of access to employment.
