After an investment of €9 million and a terrible flood, the hotel opened on schedule on June 1 and has started its first season exceeding expectations
The Innside Palma Bosque Hotel, part of the Innside by Meliá brand (the company’s most successful and fastest-growing brand internationally), was presented at an opening event attended by the media, influencers, VIPs and the most important of Meliá’s partners in the travel industry. Guests were invited to visit the facilities and enjoy an exquisite cocktail at sunset in the innovative Sindeo Lounge, a semi-covered terrace which overlooks the hotel’s spectacular new courtyard and pool, designed by the renowned architect Álvaro Sans.
Guests were amazed by the transformation of the hotel, which after only one month in operation is already becoming a benchmark hotel for business and leisure travellers to Palma, or visitors wishing to combine both business and leisure, a segment in which the Innside by Meliá “urban resorts” are market leaders. The new pool area, framed by the Bellver forest, on to which all the rooms in the large courtyard face, and the heated pool area and sun terraces are another powerful attraction, together with the new, modern meeting rooms.
The hotel’s strengths were explained by its General Manager, Juan Escarrer, who emphasized the attractive multifunctional Sindeo Lounge (meaning “sharing” in Greek) with direct street access, unifying the breakfast area with the hotel lobby and an area to work or relax, an ideal space for networking that continues on towards the terrace overlooking Bellver and the large pool patio. Guests were also shown the meeting area, with four meeting rooms with the most modern technical equipment, and e-Fitness, a feature of Innside hotels with a virtual coach which adapts training schedules to the needs of each client. Due to the proximity to the privileged surroundings of Bellver Forest, hotel guests can also enjoy guided tours, as well as being able to rent bikes, motorbikes and electric scooters thanks to an agreement with Urban Drivestyle.
Escarrer also highlighted the unique advantage of the hotel’s large swimming pool and sun terraces surrounded by Bellver forest and castle, stating that “we are proud to have transformed our traditional hotel through a spectacular refurbishment with an investment of €9 million, and the re-branding process to adapt to our avant-garde brand of “bleisure” hotels, Innside by Meliá. This guarantees our success in a city as dynamic and cosmopolitan as Palma de Mallorca. Innside Palma Bosque is another example of Meliá’s commitment to the Balearic Islands, and Palma in particular, a city that over the next few years is expected to experience spectacular progress in terms of quality, boosted by the new Palau de Congressos. “
